What happens next.
Three steps from your first message to an agreement drafted around your deal.
Getting started, answered.
What vendors, licensees, and their counsel ask before they reach out.
How do I get started with software escrow?
Send us a short note through the form or give us a call, with the software you want to protect and who the parties are. A specialist replies fast, usually the same business day, and walks you through the options. There is no obligation and no quote wall.
How fast will you respond?
Typical response is under four business hours during the business week. You reach a specialist who works on escrow every day, not a general support queue, so the first reply already moves your setup forward.
What information should I have ready?
It helps to know the parties, the software or service you are protecting, roughly how the deal is structured, and any release conditions you care about. If you are not sure yet, that is fine; the first conversation is where we work it out together.
Can I talk to your counsel directly?
Yes. EscrowTech has in-house counsel who drafts the escrow agreement and stays neutral between the parties. They draft the escrow arrangement only, not the underlying commercial contract, and are glad to talk terms with you or your attorney.
Do you work with vendors or licensees?
Both. Vendors set up escrow to close deals without handing over source code, and licensees set it up to protect continuity. We also work directly with the attorneys and compliance teams on either side of the deal.
Is there a cost to get a quote?
No. A quote is free and carries no obligation. Tell us your structure, deposit scope, and verification needs, and we send back a clear starting price with anything specific to your deal.
How long does setup take?
Most agreements are drafted, reviewed, and signed in about two weeks. Escrow being the slow part of a deal is usually a provider problem, not an escrow problem, and we work to keep it off your critical path.
Where is EscrowTech based?
EscrowTech is US-based, operating from Lehi, Utah since 1992, with deposits held in two physical US vaults. A US-based team and jurisdiction matter most for government, defense, and regulated buyers.
Make it safe to depend on.
Tell us about your deal, and we'll structure the escrow and the verification around it.
